If you only read one NBA article today, avoid the mainstream journalistic cacca of sensationalistic rumours and bandstanding and read this from Joshua Coleman of 3 Shades of Blue. This is some of the most well thought out stuff I've read this week.

He talks about the blurring of perception and reality and how this relates to the evaluation of OJ Mayo's game. For what it's worth, OJ Mayo currently has my (non-existent) vote for Rookie of the Year, so far.
