LeBron imitates Jordan's switch-hands layup E-mail

They say imitation is the highest form of flattery. Or was that just my mother trying to stop me from flattening my little brother? Anyway, LeBron James last night "borrowed" or "lifted" a little bit of Michael Jordan in this switch-hands layup. Don't for a second try to tell me that LeBron didn't know who he was imitating in the process. Take a look at the sense of moment he has when he comes down -- he has been waiting a long time to do this!

Oh and just to prove that he can still throw it down too, LBJ presented a solid jam in the same game. Poor Grizz. After celebrating a significant win over the Lakers and the all-star selection of Z-Bo, they get blown out of the water by the Cavs 105-89. Just to top things off, James added a career-high 15 assists in the game. Check the dunk...

And then of course, there was this block that LeBron had on OJ Mayo. It just wasn't the Grizzlies' night, it seems.

Nothing like ur great airness (M.J.) Letz face it Lebron's a whole different athlete. He's a great player and probably will become the next best player ever. However in no way can he imitate the almighty great, Jordan and that's a fact! This shot is nothing like the 1 Jordan did when he played. Kobe on the other hand is a Jordan protege' and imitates Jordan better than Jordan, if that's possible!!!

I have to agree with you, Yasis. LeBron's layup didn't have the same air or finesse that Jordan's did. He's simply a different player (and a much heavier one at that).

Kobe has always been a Jordan protege since the beginning. He's always been trying to replicate Jordan... and he does a damn good job of it in some respects, I must admit.
