As you will have read here previously, Michael Jordan is going to be part of NBA 2K11. Not only will he be the cover athlete, but he will also be a major component in the game as part of The Jordan Challenge -- a series of ten playable games from MJ's greatest moments.

Gaming site kotaku takes a look at the significance of this and also considers whether the inclusion of a timeless piece like this (The Jordan Challenge) was a smart ploy to keep 2K11 relevant during a likely impending lockout season in a year's time.
